Overexpression of Hsp68Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 in intestinal stem cell lineages extends lifespan in both males and females relative to isogenic wild-type controls. This overexpression also increases starvation tolerance in old flies compared with controls.
Flies expressing Hsp68Scer\UAS.cWa, under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS, show a decreased sensitivity to paraquat compared to wild-type flies. Constitutive overexpression of Hsp68Scer\UAS.cWa, driven by Scer\GAL4arm.PS, extends the lifespan of flies.
Hsp68UAS.cWa, Prx2UAS.cBa, Scer\GAL4bun-GSG5961 has long lived phenotype
Overexpression of both Hsp68Scer\UAS.cWa and Jafrac1Scer\UAS.cBa using the driver Scer\GAL4bun-GSG5961 results in a moderate but significant extension of lifespan compared with isogenic wild-type controls.
