Fewer than 1% of embryos are completely dorsalized, lacking both ventral denticles and Filzkorper. Fewer than 1% of embryos display the weakest phenotype: ventral denticle bands of normal width and Filzkorper are present, but embryos exhbit a tail-up or twisted phenotype.
