        EgmH animals have a prolonged larval and pupal stage by 34% and 15% respectively, and display, on average, a 39% decrease in triglyceride content compared with similarly aged control flies.

        EgmH homozygotes exhibit a 30% shorter lifespan at 25oC compared to controls.
