When both tumScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Avic\GFP-EYFP and pavScer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-m6 are driven in the mushroom body by Scer\GAL4OK107, a high occurrence of axon misguidance is seen, often forming a cluster of axons in a ball like form. When both tumScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Avic\GFP-EYFP and pavNLS4-7*.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-m6 are driven in the mushroom body by Scer\GAL4OK107, a high occurrence of axon misguidance is seen. In addition to forming a cluster of axons in a ball like form, axons are seen to bypass their normal path via the peduncle and instead project medially toward the front of the brain just below the normal medial lobe.

Comments

tumScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:Avic\GFP-EYFP driven by Scer\GAL4OK107 partially rescues the cytokinetic phenotype seen in tum1 mutant mushroom body clones.
