      Expression of kirreΔ103-553.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B does not restore the ability of myoblast founders to attract fusion-competent myoblasts in Df(1)w67k30 mutant embryos; myoblast fusion remains completely disrupted.

      Co-expression of kirreΔ610-959.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG and kirreΔ103-553.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B restores the ability of myoblast founders to attract fusion-competent myoblasts in Df(1)w67k30 mutant embryos. However, myoblast fusion stalls after precursors form.
