Homozygous clones induced in the wing disc are small (1-2 cells) and few in number. The size and number of homozygous clones in the wing is not increased if the clones are induced in a Minute background.

Eggs are not recovered from females carrying homozygous germline clones.

76% of the wings of swmF15/swmF14 adult escapers have patches of wing hairs that show abnormal orientation.
