      Expression of CG10431GD6977 in C-I neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in ddaD neurons that have an increased number of dendritic branches compared to controls.

      Expression of CG10431GD6977 in C-IV neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 results in a reduction in total dendritic length in ddaC neurons.

      Adults expressing CG10431GD6977 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
