Knockdown of Evi5 in border cells, through the expression of Evi5GD6735 under the control of Scer\GAL4c306, induces border cell migration defects.

Expression of Evi5GD6735 under the control of Scer\GAL4c306 slightly decreases the volume distribution of sec15-positive structures at the leading edge of border cells, while increasing the size of the individual vesicles.

Expression of Evi5GD6735 under the control of Scer\GAL4c306 slightly increases the volume distribution of Rip11-positive structures at the leading edge of border cells, while decreasing the size of the individual vesicles.

Expression of Evi5GD6735 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4tin.CΔ4 driver results in viable flies or partial lethality, depending on the particular P{GD6735} insertion line used.
