Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in a reduction in the average size of neuroblasts together with shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Mef2.PR can result in early pupal lethality or late larval lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Mef2.PR results in wild-type sarcomeres in the larval body wall muscles.
