UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expression of FignGD10937 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PU (in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency) does not lead to any significant defects in ddaC axon clearance after injury, or dendrite pruning 18 h after the onset of pupariation, but does lead to a small but significant reduction in ddaC dendrite clearance 18 h after injury, and elimination of the increase in microtubule ends 1 h after injury in both ddaC and ddaE neurons, as compared to controls. ddaC dendrite morphology and microtubule behavior in uninjured dendrites are normal in these larvae.
Adults expressing CG3326GD10937 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
