Expressing Dab^GD4886 under the control of Scer\GAL4^dome.PU does not induce melanotic masses in third instar larvae.

The expression of Dab^KK102011 under the control of Scer\GAL4²²¹, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons exhibiting dendrite branch misrouting, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^ppk.PG, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in no obvious dendrite morphology defects in class IV abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaC neurons, as compared to controls.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls.
