Wild type males mated to females expressing Nep2^GD13223 via Scer\GAL4^tub.PU lay significantly fewer eggs than controls. The proportion of progeny that eclose from laid eggs (hatchability) is also greatly reduced.

Wild type males mated to females expressing Nep2^GD13223 via Scer\GAL4^nSyb.PS or Scer\GAL4^Send1.4kb lay fewer eggs than controls. However, the proportion of progeny that eclose from laid eggs (hatchability) is not affected.
