The expression of Strica^GD12308 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 and Dicer-2 (for a more efficient RNAi) leads to curled wings, indicative of growth inhibition during development. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 alone does not induce major wing defects.
