Eggs from females expressing PlexB^GD3150 under the control of Scer\GAL4^NP1624 (together with Dicer-2, for efficient RNAi) elongate normally.

Expression of PlexB^GD3150 RNAi under the control of the { Scer\GAL4[221] } or the Scer\GAL4^21-7 drivers results in increased dendrite non-contacting crossing in the class I or class IV dendrite arborizing neurons, respectively.

Adults expressing PlexB^GD3150 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
