Animals expressing mib1C1205S.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Ser.PGF post-embryonically (animals are transferred to 28[o]C after embryogenesis to inactivate Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B which is present in the stock) show nicks in the wing margin.

The formation of wing margin is inhibited in mib1C1205S.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Ser.PGF animals.
