The expression of mavUAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4A58 leads to larval C4da neurons exhibiting a more complex dendrite tree (i.e. longer dendrites with more branches but less isoneuronal dendritic crossings), as compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E leads to longer dendrites in the anterior dendritic region of larval C4da neurons, but not in the posterior dendritic region or the overall dendrite length, as compared to controls.

Expression of mavUAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4NP0022 leads to longer and shorter dendrites in the dorsal and ventral dendritic region, respectively, of larval C4da neurons, but does not affect the overall dendrite length, as compared to controls.

Expression of mavUAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR41E11 or Scer\GAL419-12 does not significantly affect the dendrite tree morphology of larval C1da or C3da neurons, respectively, as compared to controls.

Upon clonal expression of mavUAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU, C4da neurons exhibit longer dendrites mainly in regions covering mavUAS.cGa-expressing epithelial cells.

Ubiquitous expression of up to four copies of mavScer\UAS.cGa, under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 does not result in any noticeable phenotypes. Expression in the wing, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 does not alter size or patterning.
