Detailed Description

Embryos laid by oskstop.Scer\UAS.P\T; Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 mothers have a weaker bicaudal phenotype than those from oskScer\UAS.P\T.cZa; Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 mothers: Only 30 % have an extreme bicaudal phenotype with no denticle belts. The remainder are typically either symmetrically bicaudal or just have head relplaced by a duplicated telson.

Comments

Maternal oskstop.Scer\UAS.P\T + Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 fails to rescue the posterior group phenotype seen in cuticles of embryos laid by osk9/osk1 mothers.
