Flies expressing AIFΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH show a marked reduction in eye size and have disorganised ommatidial architecture. This phenotype shows 100% penetrance but variable expressivity, ranging from roughened appearance and normal size to a severe reduction in size. The eye discs of larvae expressing AIFΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH show ectopic cell death.

Expression of AIFΔN.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in a reduction in bristle number and size on the dorsal thorax.
