        ScgδKG05430 mutants present a decreased adult lifespan, as compared to controls. 7 day old mutant adults do not display an increased end diastolic diameter when cardiac function is assayed using optical coherence tomography, but there is a significant increase in end systolic diameter compared to wild-type controls. Fractional shortening is significantly reduced in mutant females and males compared to wild-type controls.
