The expression of FsUAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4NP1624 alone leads to a progressive decrease in the number of hub cells in the testes.

Expression of FsScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results 33% of animals pupariating in the food, but 100% of the animals eclose.

Expression of FsScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS results in a number of defects; 43% of animals pupariate in the food, 65% of pupae are asymmetric, 84% of pupae fail to evert anterior spiracles, 65% of pupae have gas bubble defects, 25% of animals show pharate adult lethality, 71% of the pharate adults have crooked legs and only 1% of the animals eclose.

Expression of FsScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL469B results in a number of defects; 86% of animals pupariate in the food, 84% of pupae are asymmetric, 66% of pupae fail to evert anterior spiracles, 59% of pupae have gas bubble defects, 5% of animals show pharate adult lethality, 100 % of the pharate adults have crooked legs and none of the animals eclose.

Larvae expressing FsScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 have smaller optic lobes than normal and photoreceptor axons fail to properly innervate the optic lobe.
