Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase based on reported amino acid change.
Fewer photoreceptor cells than normal are present in homozygous clones in the eye disc, although R8 differentiation appears almost normal. Homozygous clones posterior to the morphogenetic furrow show increased cell death and an increased number of cells re-entering the cell cycle compared to wild-type cells.
Homozygous clones in the adult wing show loss of wing vein material.
mopT612 has eye photoreceptor cell | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by CblF165
mopT612 has eye photoreceptor cell | somatic clone phenotype, suppressible by styΔ5
mopT612 has eye photoreceptor cell | somatic clone phenotype, non-suppressible by Scer\GAL4unspecified/btl::Egfrλ.UAS
mopT612 has eye photoreceptor cell | somatic clone phenotype, non-suppressible by aosΔ7
The loss of photoreceptor cells seen in homozygous mopT612 clones in the eye disc is not rescued by expression of btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified.
Excessive photoreceptor differentiation can occur in mopT612 clones in the eye disc which are also expressing Ras85DV12.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified.
The loss of photoreceptor cells seen in homozygous mopT612 clones in the eye disc is not rescued if the clones are also homozygous for argosΔ7, but is rescued if the clones are also homozygous for either CblF165 or styΔ5.
