abnormal behavior | adult stage (with Mocs11)
abnormal behavior | adult stage (with Mocs11), with Mocs1+t4.6
Mocs1d03517 homozygotes show severely impaired intermale aggression behavior (i.e. decreased number of lunges, number of wing threats and dominance index); the decrease in lunges is more severe in Mocs1d03517-Mocs1d03517 male pairs than in Mocs1d03517-wildtype male pairs. There are no significant differences in locomotion (locomotion patterns, distance travelled and climbing ability), olfactory avoidance to benzaldehyde or sexual behaviors (sexual preference, male-male courtship behavior or male-female courtship behavior), between Mocs1d03517 males and control males.
Mocs1d03517/Mocs11 transheterozygotes also show severely impaired intermale aggression behavior (decreased number of lunges).
Mocs11/Mocs1d03517 is rescued by Mocs1+t4.6
One copy of Mocs1+t4.6 rescues the impaired intermale aggression behavior (i.e. number of lunges) displayed by Mocs1d03517/Mocs11 transheterozygotes.
