Expression of aPKCdsRNA.cRa.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 results in a reduction of postsynaptic F-actin at the larval neuromuscular junction.
Larvae expressing aPKCdsRNA.cRa.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 in the muscles show an increase in evoked excitatory junctional potential (EJP) amplitude compared to controls. The amplitude of miniature EJPs is increased in these animals compared to wild type, although the frequency of miniature EJPs is unaffected.
