UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
TrpγG4/+ flies expressing TrpγKK107656 under the control of Scer\GAL4Trpγ-G4 have a reduced ability to successfully traverse large gaps of 3.5mm compared to TrpγG4/+ controls.
Flies expressing TrpγKK107656 under the control of any one of Scer\GAL4elav.PU, Scer\GAL4nan.PK or Scer\GAL4iav.PU (neuronal drivers) have a significantly reduced ability to successfully traverse large gaps of 3.5mm compared to controls. This defect is also seen when TrpγKK107656 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nompA.cK, although the severity of the phenotype is less than that seen for any of the neuronal drivers.
Flies expressing TrpγKK107656 under the control of any one of Scer\GAL4pyx.PS or Scer\GAL4ato.PU show normal ability to successfully traverse large gaps of 3.5mm.
