Expression of StaclKK111487 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155, Scer\GAL4Proc or Scer\GAL4shakB.lethal.4.1 leads to a decrease in locomotion of third instar larvae.

Expression of StaclKK111487 under the control of Scer\GAL4Proc leads to a decrease in neuropeptide (Dilp2-GFP) release in type Is boutons (on muscle 4) upon activation of RP2 motor neuron via exposure to high potassium.

Expression of StaclKK111487 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf and Dicer-2, for efficient RNAi, induces a significant increase in the proportion of arrhythmic flies under constant dark (DD) conditions and induces a small but significant increase in the free-running circadian period. Under 12h:12h light:dark conditions, the startle response to light onset is eliminated, but there is no change in morning or evening anticipation, nor in general locomotor activity. These individuals do not exhibit obvious morphological defects.
