Expression of tllJF02545 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4DcG results in significant hyperglycaemia.

Expression of tllJF02545 in muscle under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PU results in significant hyperglycaemia.

Male flies expressing tllJF02545 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 show increased fighting frequency compared with control animals. Increased fighting frequency is also seen when expression of tllJF02545 is limited to the adult stages using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B.

Expression of tllJF02545 in the pars intercerebralis (PI) under the control of any of Scer\GAL4dimm-929, Scer\GAL450y or Scer\GAL4Ilp2.PR results in male flies with significantly increased fighting frequencies. In contrast, no increase in aggression is seen when tllJF02545 is expressed in the eye (Scer\GAL4GMR.PU), central complex (Scer\GAL4cry.PU) or circadian LNv neurons (Scer\GAL4c819). Increased aggression is also seen when tllJF02545 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL450y and limited to the head using Scer\GAL80tsh-GAL80. However when tllJF02545 is blocked with ubiquitously expressed Scer\GAL80αTub84B.PL or pan-neuronally expressed Scer\GAL80elav.PY there is a complete suppression of aggression.
