The level of aggression seen in males expressing amondsRNA.Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL450y is similar to controls.

Knockdown of amon in Tk-expressing enterocrine cells, through expression of amondsRNA.Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4Tkg.PS leads to an increase in lipid levels in the gut and whole body.

Expression of amondsRNA.Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU results in 91% lethality. Animals arresting during pupal development fail to undergo head eversion and the abdomen fails to differentiate.
