      Comments

      Expression of Myo61F+t5.7 rescues the increased apoptosis of enterocyte cells which is seen in the midgut of Myo61F920 mutant larvae (Df(3L)920 animals in which mtacp1 function has been rescued using mtacp1Ubi.PH). The ultrastructural defects seen in the midgut epithelium of Myo61F920 larvae and in isolated brush border preparations from these larvae are also rescued by Myo61F+t5.7.
