Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Expression of PldScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4ninaE.PU results has no significant effect on the number of rhodopsin1-containing vesicles per ommatidium upon illumination, which as in wild-type slightly increases compared to pre-illumination.

Flies expressing PldK1086R.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF do not show defects in the photoreceptors.

Retinal extracts from flies expressing PldK1086R.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF have a normal phospholipid profile.

Comments

The light-dependent retinal regeneration observed in Pld3.1 homozygous adults cannot be rescued by expression of PldK1086R.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU in the mutant background.
