      Expression of Edem2Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ninaE.PT dramatically decreases the rate of pseudopupil loss seen in ninaEG69D/+ flies. The ommatidial defects seen in 21 day old ninaEG69D/+ flies are also suppressed in the double mutants.
