      Comments

      Expression of LaspScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 rescues the sterility of homozygous Lasp1 males to approximately half the level of fertility of wild-type males. The actin cone defects seen in Lasp1 males are not rescued, while premature cyst coiling and disintegration of cysts is rescued.

      Expression of LaspScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 does not rescue the sterility of homozygous Lasp1 males, although the actin cone defects are rescued.
