Flies expressing CkIIβdsRNA.fl.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf show dampened locomotor behavioral rhythms after being placed in constant darkness conditions.

Expression of CkIIbetadsRNA.fl.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf lengthens DD behavoural period by approximately 6 hours.

Targeted expression of CkIIβdsRNA.fl.Scer\UAS in the PDF neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf results in a phase delay in circadian behavior on the first day of DD, consistent with period lengthening effects.
