Flies expressing kayNIG.15507R under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf under constant darkness conditions show a lengthening of the locomotor activity period by approximately 1 hour compared to controls. The period lengthening is increased to approximately 1.5 hours if the flies also carry Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa (to increase RNAi efficiency), and the proportion of arrhythmic flies is also increased.

s-LNv neurons develop normally in flies expressing kayNIG.15507R under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa.

Expression of kayNIG.15507R using Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 results in axon overextension.
