Expressing myo^JF01717 under the control of Scer\GAL4^repo.PU, but not Scer\GAL4^elav-C155, leads to adult mushroom body β-axons over-extending beyond the midline in some cases.

Down-regulation of myo in Pdf-positive neurons, through expression of myo^JF01717 under the control of Scer\GAL4^P2.4.Pdf induces strong locomotor arrhythmicity. Expression of myo^JF01717 under the control of Scer\GAL4^tim.PE and suppressed in Pdf-positive cells through the presence of Scer\GAL80^Pdf.PS results in some rescue of the arrhythmic phenotype.
