      Clones expressing spasScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU which encompass the morphogenetic furrow result in the nuclei of cells in the morphogenetic furrow being randomly distributed and having a tendency to be close to the apical cell surfaces (in wild type nuclei in the morphogenetic furrow are basally located).
