Imprecise excision of P{PZ}Snr101319 results in an approximate 1.8kb deletion, removing about two-thirds of the Hdac3 coding region (breaking at codon 145 within the HDAC catalytic domain) plus all Snr1 DNA 3' to the original insertion.
~1.8kb deletion resulting from the imprecise excision of P{PZ}Snr101319. One boundary is in Snr1 and one is in HDAC3. The boundary within HDAC3 was reported as breaking at codon 145 and is approximate.

PBac{GH146-GAL4.B}-marked anterodorsal single cell clones in Snr16C mutants (that also express Hdac3Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG) display mistargeting to non-stereotyped glomeruli throughout the antennal lobe. PBac{GH146-GAL4.B}-marked neuroblast clones in Snr101319 mutants (that also express Hdac3Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG) display phenotypes where dendrites make small, meandering projections throughout the antennal lobe and exhibit extremely perturbed cell morphology.
