UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a short inverted repeat.
Expression of LfgHMS00225 under the control of Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL results in decreased lifespan and impaired climbing ability in adult flies. Expression under the Scer\GAL4GMR.PF driver leads to loss of ommatidia and disruptions in the ommatidial lattice in the adult eye.
LfgHMS00225, Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL has short lived phenotype, suppressible by BuffyUAS.cQa, Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL
LfgHMS00225, Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL has abnormal locomotor behavior | adult stage phenotype, suppressible by BuffyUAS.cQa, Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL
LfgHMS00225, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has visible | adult stage phenotype, suppressible by BuffyUAS.cQa/Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL
LfgHMS00225, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has eye phenotype, suppressible by BuffyUAS.cQa/Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL
The reduced lifespan and impaired climbing ability characteristic for adult flies expressing LfgHMS00225 under the Scer\GAL4Ddc.PL driver as well as the loss of ommatidia observed upon Scer\GAL4GMR.PF-driven RNAi expression are suppressed by co-expression of BuffyScer\UAS.cQa.
