The expression of sdkHMS00292 under the control of Scer\GAL4Abd-B-LDN leads to male pupal A8a epithelia cells to take a longer time to resolve four-way vertices and to show decreased junction growth rate, but no changes in junction shrinkage rate, as compared to controls. Clonal expression in a single cell (under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU) is sufficient to induce a decrease in junction growth rate.
A small proportion of adult males expressing sdkHMS00292 under the control of Scer\GAL4Abd-B-LDN exhibit mis-oriented genitalia.
Scer\GAL4Abd-B-LDN, sdkHMS00292 has male genitalia phenotype, enhanceable by shg[+]/shgGFP
