Expressing rheaHMS00799 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo (in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency) results in stalling photoreceptor axons in the optic stalk and a reduced number of glial cells in the eye disc, but not in the optic stalk, of third instar larvae.
