Third instar larvae expressing Pi3K68DUAS.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 do not show apparent defects in neurotransmission across the neuromuscular junctions (mEPSP and EPSP amplitudes, and quantal content), as compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 impairs muscle health and leads to an apparent decrease in EPSP amplitude, but not in mEPSP amplitude or quantal content, as compared to controls; In a Pi3K68DAH1 homozygous background the Scer\GAL4C57-driven expression leads to a decreased mEPSP amplitude, as compared to controls.
Primary hemocytes derived from larvae expressing Pi3K68DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS have enlarged endolysosomes.
