UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expressing PzlKK115662 under the control of Scer\GAL4iav.PP (in combination with Dicer-2, for an efficient RNAi) induces abnormal locomotor behavior, with severely increased periods of head lifting and spontaneous backward movements compared to controls, as well as severely higher frequency of bending their bodies laterally to greater than 90[o], which is rarely observed in wild-type controls; larval Cho neurons show a significantly decreased response to body wall stimuli, as compared to controls.
