      The distance between the crossveins is shorter in wings expressing chasA.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E compared to controls. The intervein area between veins 3 and 4 shows swirls of wing hairs, inversions of wing hair polarity, multiple hairs per cell and also lack of hairs.

      Expression of chasA.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 in the notum results in a mild cleft in the thorax and bristle polarity and morphology defects.
