      Expression of CYLDΔUCH.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU does not rescue either the shortened lifespan or increased sensitivity to paraquat which is seen in CYLDmr4 mutant adults (animals homozygous for Df(2L)CYLDmr4 and carrying P{LX107} to rescue the function of CG13138 and nmd).

      Expression of CYLDΔUCH.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has no effect on the ability of CYLDmr4 to suppress the small-eye phenotype caused by expression of egrScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.
