Description

Act5C promoter sequences are followed by the P\T intron inserted in frame between the Act5C initiation codon and the I-SceI open reading frame, such that I-SceI is only successfully translated when the intron is spliced out. The I-SceI open reading frame is followed by the βTub56D 3' UTR.
