There are no statistical differences in evoked excitatory junctional potential amplitudes between Syt7dsRNA.Scer\UAS, Scer\GAL4elav-C155 animals and controls, even at low 0.1 mM extracellular Ca[2+] concentrations. Also, the amount of facilitation at all interpulse intervals tested was statistically the same as controls, indicating paired-pulse facilitation is unaffected.
Scer\GAL4elav-C155/Syt7RNAi.UAS is a non-enhancer of uncoordinated phenotype of Syt1AD4/Syt1N13
Scer\GAL4elav-C155, Syt1AD4/Syt1N13, Syt7RNAi.UAS has lethal | third instar larval stage phenotype
Syt1AD4/Syt1N13 mutants that also express Syt7dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 hatch and exhibit uncoordinated and slow movements (similar to Syt1AD4/Syt1N13 mutants alone), but then die during the first larval instar stage.
