Description

Contains a genomic fragment containing the complete dsh open reading frame with approximately 184bp of minimal promoter sequences. HindIII sites have been generated on both sides of an endogenous sequence coding for a 28 amino acid polyglutamine tract interrupted by two histidines. The creation of the HindIII site flanking the N-terminal end of the repeat has not resulted in any amino acid change. The creation of the HindIII site flanking the C-terminal end of the repeat has resulted in a Q to K and a V to L change at the C-terminus adjacent to the repeat.
