      Expression of dshQ27.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU results in approximately 20% lethality.

      Expression of dshQ27.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in late pupal lethality. The dying animals have short, thick legs and margin bristles in the wing blades.

      Expression of dshQ27.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in approximately 75% lethality. Surviving adults have small eyes and extra wing veins.
