Induction of P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-1 through the presence of doxycycline and Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 decreases male life span by -7%, line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-3 by -10% and line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}53 by -7.32%. In contrast, the effects on female life span are generally smaller and less consistently observed: line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-1 decreases female life span by -8%, line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-3 decreases female life span by -16.7%, while line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}53 causes a small decrease in female life span.

Induction of P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-1 through the presence of doxycycline and Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 decreases female fertility by -50%, while line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}53 decreases female fertility by -72% and line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-3 by -45%.

Induction of P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-1 through the presence of doxycycline and Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 decreases the survival rate of male larvae by 9% and female larvae by 13.5%. Induction of P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}4-3 decreases larval survival by 4.4% in males and 10.2% in females, whereas line P{tetO-MRG15.dsRNA}53 decreases male survival by 24.5% with the female survival decrease being statistically insignificant.
