Expression of Sema-2bT:Avic\GFP,T:Mmus\Cd8a under the control of Scer\GAL4peb-GAL4 restores the dorsolateral/ventromedial axon bundle ratio in Sema-2bf02042 mutants. However, expression at 29[o]C results in differential Sema-2bT:Avic\GFP,T:Mmus\Cd8a expression between the two bundles, with a bias towards the ventromedial trajectory, in some cases almost completely removing the dorsolateral bundle. Sufficiently high levels of Sema-2b can thus force dorsolateral axons to choose the ventromedial trajectory.
Sema-2b+tWa almost completely rescues the longitudinal connective defects of Df(2R)Sema-2b-C4 mutant embryos, including the defects seen in the intermediate Fas2-positive longitudinal tracts.
