      In the absence of a Scer\GAL4 driver, PezScer\UAS.cPa rescues the size defect of Pez1/Pez2 adults but not their midgut phenotypes.

      Expression of PezScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 rescues the excess number of mitotic cells seen in the midgut of Pez1/Pez2 adults.

      Expression of PezScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4Dl-05151-G during the adult stage only (using the temperature sensitive Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B allele to limit the stage of expression) significantly suppresses the increased number of mitotic cells seen in the midgut of Pez1/Pez2 adults.
